i had a very good experience here. their customer service is very good. food is good. i was welcomed when i arrived. i ordered the wrong wings and i went to the food area, a guy asked if he can help. in the end he helped me change it. the waitress also checked on me to see if the food was good. the new extra saucy wings are tasty.
Really nice place, busy but the atmosphere was lovely! The food arrived really quickly
As always, Nando’s never fails to bring the flavour and fantastic food. Nando’s Portsmouth is on the second level of Gunwharf Quays, and although it’s busy, you usually don’t have to wait too long for a table as they turn them around efficiently. The food is what you’d expect from Nando’s - and there is always something new that they’re bringing out too. However, in my opinion, you can’t beat a Fino Pitta. The staff are always quick and friendly considering how many people can fit in the restaurant. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat in Gunwharf Quays - Nando’s won’t let you down!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nando's Restaurant in Portsmouth and tried their famous Chicken Butterfly dish. Let me just say, it was an absolute delight for my taste buds! From the moment the plate arrived at my table, I knew I was in for a treat. The chicken butterfly was perfectly cooked, tender, and succulent. The butterfly cut allowed for even cooking, resulting in juicy meat with a slight smoky flavor infused into every bite. The marinade was a harmonious blend of herbs and spices, creating a tantalizing explosion of flavors. It had just the right amount of heat, providing a mild kick without overpowering the overall taste. The dish was accompanied by a generous portion of peri-peri fries and a vibrant, crisp salad. The fries were perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside.
Lovely Nandos! Beautifully decorated and lit all over, nice atmosphere. Great choice of food and drinks, served quickly, even though place was packed. Perfectly cooked food, well presented. Staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful. Toilets upstairs.
Had a great experience at Nando's in Portsmouth! The vibe was spot on, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff who were really attentive. The food came out quickly, and the chicken was perfectly cooked – juicy and with just the right amount of spice. Loved the variety of sauces, from mild to extra hot, so there's something for everyone. Only downside was that the cutlery and glasses could’ve been a bit cleaner. Ideal spot for a casual meal, whether it’s lunch or dinner. Highly recommend for any chicken lovers out there!
First time at Nando’s in years, and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the Fino Pitta with pineapple and the rainbow salad, with a cheesy pita to start. The main had nice new flavours (the pineapple was a risk that paid off), and the dip with the starter was delicious. The restaurant has African theming and has a nice feeling, though slightly cramped in places. The service was very fast, and I didn’t mind the app ordering system as I didn’t have to set up an account, and could pay with Apple Pay. I can see why a cheeky Nando’s is so popular.
Nando’s knows how to do flavor, portions, and hospitality right! I went for 3 hot wings (because why not turn up the heat?), Peri Peri fries, and garlic bread, all washed down with an infinity tap—because unlimited drinks are the way to go. I also couldn’t resist the Cheesy Chickle Burger with another side of Peri Peri fries (yes, double the fries double the happiness!) and cheesy mash, which was smooth, creamy, and just the right kind of indulgent. The portion sizes were on point—I left completely full and satisfied. A special shoutout to the Nando’s team for handling my allergy concerns with care—always great to see a restaurant go the extra mile for their customers. Safe to say, Nando’s never disappoints! Already looking forward to my next Peri-Peri fix!
